My Bohol Trip In Pictures [Part 1]

My family and I had a swell trip to Panglao, Bohol last weekend. I wanted to go to Boracay, but due to flooding, we had to choose between Palawan and Bohol. But Palawan was really expensive!!!

Initially, I had mixed feelings about Bohol... But a little research did wonders on my hesitations. For the longest time, I really wanted to see the Chocolate Hills. And knowing that our beach destination had white sand was enough for me.

Here are some pictures from our vacation.

Beach
I really like the white sands of Alona Beach in Panglao Island. This is a small island on the southwestern side of Bohol and east of Cebu. It is one of the best Dive Centers in the Philippines, frequented by many Westerners. In fact, most of our neighbors in Alonaland (our inn) were foreigners!

You can see from the pics that the sand is really distinctly fair. It was quite a sight to behold once we got out of the coconut groves leading to the beach. We went straight to the water!

Check out this glorious sunrise.

Watch out tomorrow: Chocolate Hills and Tarsiers

Hello! May I know your feedback on Alonaland. What room did you get? and how did you reserve it? Thanks!
