For those of you who don't know how to reset an iPod, just slide Hold to the ON position (it will show the orange part of the slider) then OFF again. Now, it's better if the iPod is on a countertop or table to do the next step. Just click the Menu button and Center button simultaneously for like 5 seconds. Just repeat the procedure if it doesn't work the first time. You're now good to go.
You can also let the battery drain, but where's the fun in that?
